I released this song on my birthday as the first and one of only two singles in 2021. After releasing two EPs the year before, and with a goal of saving to relocate, I wanted to take a break from music this year. However, I couldn't let my birthday and virgo season pass without giving something to my support.
BETTER is a track that paints where I was at that point in my artistry, as well as the direction I felt I was headed in. It also features LA based artist, Dreebo, who I not only wanted to finally collaborate with, but someone who also motivated me to do better, with him releasing a song each day of 2021.
I hope that all who tunes into this track (and after track that I release) feels BETTER than they felt beforehand, and is inspired to even strive for BETTER in their own life.
